Even when eating, a dog will set aside food if it wants to go for a walk. Originally, when dogs were in the wild, they ran around the square with many companion dogs, and running or walking was a strong instinct for dogs.
Small indoor dogs can walk or run indoors, but dogs on chains outdoors tend to be under-exercised.
Exercise your dog as much as possible two to three times a day, or at least once a day if you’re not up to it, so that your dog gets plenty of exercise. If a dog does not get enough exercise, it will lose its vigor and become unresponsive. First of all, it promotes the health of the dog, and as a result, the dog will be in better physical condition and will not bark. Dog barking and chirping are mainly caused by the tension of insufficient exercise. And it prevents dog obesity which has increased recently.
Dogs are used to finish the food given by people, so they can easily become obese if they don’t get enough exercise. As with people, obesity shortens a dog’s life span. For people, it is quite fun to take a walk with their dogs. Walking with a dog while enjoying the scenery of the four seasons can be a great way to relieve tension.
Walking allows you to observe the dog’s personality, which you cannot see at home. Through walking, the bond between man and dog becomes deeper, and the dog becomes more loyal to its owner who is diligent in taking it for a walk.
However, it is forbidden to be too nervous, especially when walking on a bicycle, and the dog often walks too much, so it is important to watch the dog while avoiding overly intense exercise. Even if you walk your dog regularly, if it rains, you will usually say, “Today is a day off”.
However, even if it rains, you can still go for a walk. People use umbrellas and raincoats to protect themselves from the rain, but dogs (medium-sized dogs and above) don’t feel any pain even if they get wet. There are raincoats for small dogs available on the market that can be worn by dogs, and although it may be difficult for them to move around, they can still get plenty of exercise.
However, it is difficult for dogs to walk in the rain, so they do not want to do so many walks, which will be shorter than usual, and they must wipe off the water when they return home.
