History
The Balinese cat, also known as the Balinese cat and the Javanese cat, is produced by a natural mutation or hidden genetic trait in the Siamese cat, so it was originally called the long-haired Siamese cat.
The Balinese cat is native to the United States, and it is a long-haired mutation found in the offspring of the forcing cats bred by Mrs. Belen Smith in New York State at the beginning of this century, and was bred through a series of selective breeding, purification, and breeding. The Balinese cat was exhibited in the U.S. in 1930, and was recognized for the first time in the U.S. in 1963, and is now one of the most popular breeds around the world.
