There are mainly the following reasons:
- Excessive bathing, normal dogs are bathed once every 7-10 days in winter, and once every 7 days in summer is more reasonable;
- Improper use of shampoo, as the surface of human skin is acidic, human shampoo is alkaline, while the dog’s skin is neutral, long-term use of human shampoo is not conducive to the protection of the dog’s skin.
- Ectoparasites (mites, fleas, lice, etc.), fungi bacteria and endocrine disorders are also one of the main reasons for hair loss.
