Basic principles of dog feeding

/

Nowadays, many families like to keep pet dogs, but do you know that puppies have rules when it comes to feeding. If you can follow the following principles to feed your puppy, I believe your puppy will grow up healthier.

  • Purchase products made by reputable and quality-assured dog food manufacturers.
  • Dogs must clean up any leftover non-dry food from each meal in a timely manner and do not save it for the next meal out of pity.
  • Even if your puppy has leftover dry food, don’t leave it overnight and be sure to clean it up before bedtime.
  • Chicken or fish bones are not suitable for feeding dogs until they have been specially treated.
  • Do not feed your puppy with cat food or fish food as these foods contain too much protein for your dog’s nutritional requirements.
  • Never feed your puppy with spoiled or expired food.
  • Always have clean, fresh water available for your puppy to drink.
  • Watch your puppy’s appetite. If your puppy is anorexic for more than 3 days or refuses to eat for 24 hours, he may be sick. The puppy must be taken to a veterinarian for treatment.
