Once the dog has bonded with its owner, it will bark when left alone trying to elicit pity from its owner.
You can put a small alarm clock or a radio with the sound turned down under the mat in the kennel, and when the owner wants to leave, you can order the dog to go back to the kennel and then turn off the light and close the door.
After a few training sessions, the dog will return to the kennel when the owner turns off the light and closes the door. The sound of the alarm clock and radio hidden in the kennel will make the dog calmer. After the dog gets used to it, you can take away the alarm clock and radio.
