Make your dog memorize the rooms he can’t go into

/

Generally, there will always be areas of the home (such as the living room and bedrooms) that you don’t want your dog to just go into. Has your dog ever entered a room without fear, urinated freely in the house or overturned a waste basket as a toy?

If you criticize your dog when you find him when he enters a room he shouldn’t be in to play, the dog won’t understand why you are angry with him. Only if you stop him when he wants to go into the room will he understand that “this room is off-limits”.

When you stop him, you can use the command “wait” to get him into the habit of waiting outside the room.

Once you and your family have decided on a room that the dog is not allowed to enter, never break the rule. If the dog is allowed to enter the room once, the dog will think, “The owner won’t be angry with me if I enter this room, so I can enter freely from now on.

Therefore, no one in the family should ever sneak a dog into a room it is not supposed to be in.
